This Privacy Policy has been compiled in order to inform you of what personal and non-personal data PLATEBANK collects and how this data is processed. By accessing or using the Site you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In this Privacy Policy “personal data” means data, which allows individuals accessing or using the Site to be specifically identified as individual persons. “Non-personal data” means data that cannot be used to specifically identify any individual persons.

1. Purpose of processing personal data

PLATEBANK will only collect such personal data that is relevant for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal data may be collected, used and processed for the purposes of providing and operating the Site (including the content, material, information, software, programmes, applications and functionalities related to the Site) which includes inter alia the following:

(i) creating and maintaining user accounts; using, monitoring, maintaining, customizing and developing the Site and its use;

(ii) contacting and communicating with the users of the Site; providing customer service and receiving feedback;

2. What kind of data is collected?

The Site includes both areas and parts that can be accessed or used freely and areas and parts which require registration. In case registration is required, you may refuse to give the required registration or access information but in such case the Site may not function properly or your access to or use of the relevant area or part of the Site will be prohibited.

PLATEBANK collects and processes following categories of data:

Such third party advertisements are governed by separate privacy policies and this Privacy Policy shall not apply and PLATEBANK shall not be responsible for such collection of data by third parties.

4. Disclosing and transfering Personal Data

PLATEBANK may use its affiliates and third party service providers to provide technical solutions or services for the provision and operation of the Site, such as processing stored data and accessing the stored data by using a technical interface, such as e-mail service providers, credit card and payment processors, data analyzers and business intelligence providers. PLATEBANK may disclose or transfer personal data to its affiliates and third parties who perform services or work for or on PLATEBANK´s behalf as necessary for the affiliates and third parties to provide their services to PLATEBANK. PLATEBANK User Register will be maintained in external service providers’ servers with appropriate safeguards, such as password protection, granting the access to the stored information only to PLATEBANK. The register is protected by appropriate industry standard, technical and organizational safety measures.

PLATEBANK User Register will be accessible only to those persons who are authorized to access the personal information by PLATEBANK.

Personal data collected by PLATEBANK shall be stored as long as it has contractual relationship with the user and/or as long as the personal data is necessary for the purposes it was collected.

6. User rights

You are entitled to review any information collected on you and stored in PLATEBANK User Register and to complement, correct or delete incomplete, inaccurate or outdated personal data. If you wish to use the above right to review stored data, please send a signed request thereof to PLATEBANK by using the contact details mentioned above.

You have the right to prohibit PLATEBANK from processing personal data stored on you in PLATEBANK User Register for the purposes of direct advertising, distance selling, other direct marketing, market research and opinion polls. If you wish to use the above right to prohibit the processing of your personal data, please contact PLATEBANK by using the contact details mentioned above in order to communicate this to PLATEBANK.

7. Changes to the privacy policy

PLATEBANK may amend this Privacy Policy and the related information from time to time. PLATEBANK recommends that the users regularly access the Privacy Policy to obtain knowledge of any possible changes made thereto.
